In this #1 event, Synergy Policies are proud to collaborate with AIHII (the Indonesian Association of International Relations), Binus University & University of Philippines in Diliman, Philippines. We ask: what has changed in the US, Europe and the world given the Russia-Ukraine conflict? Is the potential of World War III tamed so far? What don’t we know about the ongoing negotiations between countries, both in the political security and socio-economic dimensions? What is the take home points for students of international relations in Southeast Asia?

POLITIK LUAR NEGERI INDONESIA DI MATA NEGARA SAHABAT
Synergy Policies in collaboration with the Indonesian Defense and Strategic Studies (a journalist study group from across Indonesia that focuses on Indonesian defense and strategic issues, formerly known as Jakarta Defense Studies) and ILUNI FISIP UI (Association of Alumni from Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Universitas Indonesia) organized an initiative to reflect on Indonesia’s Independence Day on how the neighbouring countries perceive Indonesia’s foreign affairs and policies thus far. The event was co-sponsored by Synergy Policies, ISDS, ILUNI FISIP UI and Gojek. The event was in Bahasa Indonesia. Please refer to our press release for details of the program’s outputs

SPEAKING UP YOUTH: MENAKAR PENDEKATAN PRESIDEN JOKO WIDODO KE UKRAINA DAN RUSIA: DAMPAKNYA PADA G20 DAN ASEAN 2023
Synergy Policies berkolaborasi dengan Jurusan Hubungan Internasional Binus University, Himpunan Mahasiswa Hubungan Internasional (HIMHI) Binus University, dan Asosiasi Ilmu Hubungan Internasional Indonesia (AIHII) mengadakan webinar Speaking Up Youth.
Acara dihadiri oleh puluhan mahasiswa dari 24 universitas dari berbagai belahan negeri yang menghadiri acara ini. Delapan mahasiswa dari Bina Nusantara University, Universitas Indonesia, dan Universitas Gadjah Mada hadir sebagai pembicara, dengan Co-sherpa G20 Dr. Edi Prio Pambudi, Pakar HI Prof. Alexius Jemadu, dan Co-Chair Y20 Indonesia Gracia Paramitha, Ph.D hadir sebagai penanggap dan moderator.
